The selection is stored in memory within the onboard controller so every time vehicle is started, the same pattern is used. Selection is performed while panel is powered up so user can observe each pattern until the desired pattern is determined. Each press of the switch steps panel through each of the available patterns. If sequential lighting patterns are desired, then the attached pink wire must be wired to +12 volt ignition power.Ī pushbutton switch on the back or front of the light panel is used to select from any of the pre-programmed sequential patterns. The simple installation requires a quick mounting of the LED lighting panel to the tail light housing or lens, depending on application and plugging in the wired bulb plug(s) into the factory bulb socket(s). Standard Flash Mode: Flashes all LEDs in all panels together with the flasher relay or solid light with brake, mimics light bulb operationĭemonstration Mode: Steps through each sequential pattern cyclically, flashes each sequence 6 times before stepping to the next sequence, then repeats. Tail Light Operational Functions: Turn Signal Light, Brake Light, Running Light and Emergency Flash (not including demonstration and standard flash modes) Number of Sequential Patterns: 10 > Industry First << For LED lighting to function properly, a Low Current Flasher Module must be installed in place of the traditional turn signal flasher module. The kit is designed to work with OEM tail light housing and lenses as well as aftermarket components. There is no separate sequential lighting control module to mount and wire up. In addition, the kit includes a self-contained microprocessor and circuitry to enable a multitude of sequential lighting patterns. This includes low level running light illumination, brake light illumination, turn signal illumination, emergency flash and back-up lighting where applicable. The kits replace all the functionality of the light bulbs they replace. These kits incorporate high efficiency LED lights that increase tail light brightness, reliability and longevity.

Have you tried the stock flasher units with your led lamps? They may work or flash at the wrong speed if you have regular bulbs in the front lamps. The Classic Sequential Tail Light (CST) kits are direct retrofit and replacement for incandescent light bulbs in classic vehicles. I might add that this car has a new AAW wiring system."ĭo your lights, flashers + emergency all work ok with the 1157's and the "led flashers"? Installed this new flasher and everything works perfect. As a last resort I went to AutoZone and purchased an light duty flasher. Thinking it might be the ground, I ran the ground wire to two different locations with the same results. Thinking I might have a bad flasher, I ordered a new one and had the same results. They would flash, stop flashing, stay on, turn off, etc. When I started the car, the turn signals would not work correctly. With the ignition on (engine not running) everything worked fine. I purchased this flasher when I installed LED Tail Lights and Front Turn Signal Lights in my 67 Mustang. Have you seen this in the review of the flasher you linked? I have been trying to figure this out for a week and am at a loss. If anyone has any suggestions or can offer any help it would be greatly appreciated. I was very thorough on the installation of the AAW harness and because the lights function properly when I have 1157 bulbs in, I am guessing maybe it is an issue with the LED lights or I need some other type of module to get the LED's to work properly. I also installed the recommended LED flashers on both the turn signal and hazard flasher modules Mustang LED Flasher Two Terminal 1965-1969 When I turn the lights on, the rear lights blink twice and stop.with lights off, all lights blink(both rear brake lights, both front parking lights and both side marker lights). When I plug these LED units in and connect them as the instruction state this is what happens: I wanted to add in the Easy Performance 68 mustang LED kit Mustang Sequential LED Taillight Kit 8-Pattern 1967-1968 | CJ Pony Parts When I put just regular 1157 bulbs in the rear brake light sockets instead of the LED units, the lights operate correctly with the blinkers and head lights on.
